Butterfly Release

As an animal lover I'm still pretty torn about the idea of a live butterfly release at my wedding.  However, if I could make sure the butterflies were lovingly raised (no idea how one would go about doing that...), I think I might be more okay with it.  It sounds a lot better than the traditional rice-throwing.  Plus, since our wedding ceremony (which would take place late morning) and the reception would be at the same place (a farm), the butterflies would rest on trees and flowers, and we could enjoy them all day long.  What do you think?
According to an American Indian Legend, if anyone desires a wish to come true they must first capture a butterfly and whisper that wish to it.
Since a butterfly can make no sound, the butterfly can not reveal the wish to anyone but the Great Spirit who hears and sees all.
In gratitude for giving the beautiful butterfly its freedom, the Great Spirit always grants the wish.
So, according to legend, by making a wish and giving the butterfly its freedom, the wish will be taken to the heavens and be granted.
